Every year, during September, is the Filer Fair. This year the kids and I got to go to our very first Filer Fair. Grandma came with us also to enjoy a fun day at the fair.
The first thing we did was buy tickets so we could ride all the fun rides. We decided to go on the mini Roller Coaster first. Kameron and Grandma were in line, but as Kameron got closer he decided he didn't want to ride.
But Taelyn, being the fearless little girl that she is, wanted to ride the roller coaster. So her and I went.
She loved it!! As soon as we got into our seats she put her hands in the air. I'm thinking she saw all the other kids doing that, so she had to do it. She was so cute on the roller coaster, raising her hands and screaming.
After Kameron saw Taelyn ride the roller coaster he was a little more daring. We decided to ride the bugs. The guy running the ride was really scary, but we had fun all squished in the bug.
Posing for Grandma.
One thing about the fair, is the food. Mmmmm. And when Kathy told me they had a Corn on a Stick booth, I just had to take this picture....
"Get that corn outta my face!!!" (Taelyn agrees.) hehe
'Nacho Libre'
Kameron liked the corn. He said that it was' So so so so so good.'
There were also animals at the fair. This was probably Kameron and Taelyn's favorite part of the fair.
We got to see Longhorns...as you can see by her smile, Taelyn liked those.
And then she had to stop and talk to the baby calf.
And we got to see rabbits. They had some on a table where you could come by and pet them. Kameron loved that. We had to go back twice. :)
And there were miniatur ponies. There was a really nice girl that got one out so that we could pet it.
Kameron want a 'little horse' now. Grandma did enter to win one, but no such luck.
We got to see all kinds of animals at the fair, these were just a few of the many.
Before we left Kameron decided he wanted to go on the Roller Coaster. Lucky for us, they let all 3 of us ride together.
Kameron had to raise his hands too.
We had a great day at the fair riding rides, playing games, seeing animals, and eating lots of good food. I think this may have to become a family tradition.
How fun! We took Jack to Disneyland back in April and he was copying the bigger kids and putting his hands up too - it's so funny how they pick up on that stuff!
ReplyDeleteIt is funny that they notice that. I want to take them to Disneyland so bad, maybe we should plan a group trip to Disneyland and go together. :)
