Jump 2 It!!

Sometimes when we head to Twin Falls for some shopping, I will bribe our children with a very special treat. :) If they're really good we get to go to Jump 2 It.
We just went to Twin a few weeks ago and decided to go to Jump 2 It for a little break.

When we got there we noticed that we were the only ones there. They had to air up all of the jump houses and slides for us.

The Big Slide
I think Kameron and Taelyn's favorite thing at Jump 2 It is the big slide.

Taelyn always ends up right by the side.

The Obstacle Course

Then there's the obstacle course. Kameron has really gotten into 'posing' for the camera. :)

 Climbing up the ladder.

 And through the tunnel.

The Kiddie Jump House
Kameron jumping onto the kiddie slide.

 Attacking the big mushrooms.

Kameron acting like Iron Man killing the bad guys.

Such a boy...

Baseball House
Kameron loves playing baseball. So he had to stop at the Baseball House.

Homerun!

Then Kameron and Taelyn decided to blow the air into each other's faces. They were laughing so hard, having a great time.

Then Taelyn decided to 'get' Kameron.
I love this picture. :)

Ball Pit
Jump 2 It has a ball pit that you slide into and then have to rock climb out of. Taelyn has the rock climbing down.

They love sliding into the big pit of balls.

Kameron and Taelyn love going to the 'Jump house'. And it was so nice that we had the whole place to ourselves. They ran around going from one thing to the next.
By the time we were headed home everyone was exhausted, but it was great!
Can't wait to go back.

Funny Pictures

Workin' with Pa
Kameron loves to help his Pa, especially when he's going to be working at Daddy's shop. One morning Pa asked Kameron if he wanted to go work at the shop with him. Of course Kameron said 'Yes!' And since he was going to work he had to get all his work clothes on...

He had to get his UPS hat, his coverall, and all of his tools. As you can see he doesn't have a tool belt, so he sticks his tools in whatever pocket he can find. :)
Thanks Pa for taking me to work with you!

Taelyn's Dinner-do
I really hate it when we eat dinner and Taelyn somehow gets most of her meal in her hair (and it's usually right after she has a bath). So one night we tried a new hair-do for dinner. Taelyn really liked it....

She had to model her new do with her fabulous sunglasses. Such a silly little girl.

Our Tech-Savvy kids
One night I was walking through our living room when I look over and saw this...

Kameron and Taelyn laying on the couch, one with our iPod and the other with Daddy's cell phone, just playing games (not even noticing I'm there.) hahaha

I said, "What are you two doing?" They just laughed and then smiled for the camera.

Our First Filer Fair!!

Every year, during September, is the Filer Fair. This year the kids and I got to go to our very first Filer Fair. Grandma came with us also to enjoy a fun day at the fair.

The first thing we did was buy tickets so we could ride all the fun rides. We decided to go on the mini Roller Coaster first. Kameron and Grandma were in line, but as Kameron got closer he decided he didn't want to ride.
But Taelyn, being the fearless little girl that she is, wanted to ride the roller coaster. So her and I went.

She loved it!! As soon as we got into our seats she put her hands in the air. I'm thinking she saw all the other kids doing that, so she had to do it. She was so cute on the roller coaster, raising her hands and screaming.

After Kameron saw Taelyn ride the roller coaster he was a little more daring. We decided to ride the bugs. The guy running the ride was really scary, but we had fun all squished in the bug.

Posing for Grandma.

One thing about the fair, is the food. Mmmmm. And when Kathy told me they had a Corn on a Stick booth, I just had to take this picture....
"Get that corn outta my face!!!" (Taelyn agrees.) hehe
'Nacho Libre'
Kameron liked the corn. He said that it was' So so so so so good.'

There were also animals at the fair. This was probably Kameron and Taelyn's favorite part of the fair.

We got to see Longhorns...as you can see by her smile, Taelyn liked those.

And then she had to stop and talk to the baby calf.

And we got to see rabbits. They had some on a table where you could come by and pet them. Kameron loved that. We had to go back twice. :)

And there were miniatur ponies. There was a really nice girl that got one out so that we could pet it.

Kameron want a 'little horse' now. Grandma did enter to win one, but no such luck.
We got to see all kinds of animals at the fair, these were just a few of the many.

Before we left Kameron decided he wanted to go on the Roller Coaster. Lucky for us, they let all 3 of us ride together.

Kameron had to raise his hands too.

We had a great day at the fair riding rides, playing games, seeing animals, and eating lots of good food. I think this may have to become a family tradition.

The Boise Zoo

In August the kids and I went to the Boise Zoo with my friend Kristin and her little girl, Ashlynn. We had a great time. Here is what we saw at the zoo...

Here's Kameron & Taelyn in their Jeep stroller.

Our first stop at the zoo.... Everyone was looking for the animal.

And then we saw it....a Sloth Bear.

 The Prairie Dogs

Before we actually saw the Prairie Dogs, we found these tunnels. The kids enjoyed running and climbing around. Taelyn wasn't too sure about the whole thing though. Sorry Kristin, I had to include this picture.

After we ran around the tunnels awhile, we found the prairie dogs. I think this was one of Kam's favorite animals. I have no idea why, but he was fascinated by these little guys.

The Tigers
The tigers were really cool. I've been to a few different zoo's, but have never been able to get this close to the tigers. At one time one of the tigers walked right past us.
Then Kameron said, "I want the tigers to get in the water."
 And they did.

Kameron didn't say much while at the Tigers, he was too interested in what they were doing.

The tigers started fighting, but every time I tried to take a picture they stopped. So we would walk away and they would start fighting again. It was really cool and the kids loved it. But sorry no picture.

Goats
Next we saw the goats and we got to feed them. Kameron and Taelyn have never gotten to feed a goat, so this was alot of fun.

At first Kameron wasn't too sure about feeding a goat, so he threw the food at the goat. So I had to show Kameron how to feed the goat and that it wouldn't bite you. He thought that was so funny.

He decided to give it a try....

 But then he wouldn't stop.

Taelyn on the other hand would not feed the goats, but she loved them from a distance. :)

The Komodo Dragon
The Komodo Dragon kind of freaked me out....a giant lizard is just a little too much. :) But the kids really liked it.

It started opening it's mouth and sticking out it's tongue....had to get a picture of that.

Then they invited the kids to come into the cage and sit on it. Just kidding.
They had a little statue of a Komodo Dragon that we decided to sit on and take a picture.

Big Ears
We saw these giant ears and had to take a picture. Sorry, I don't remember what animal ears these are, but they were great for pictures.

Ha ha Kristin.....But I do have to say you look really cute with big ears.

The Giraffes
Next we saw the giraffes, by this time the kids weren't too interested. But they still liked seeing the giraffes.

I loved the giraffes But maybe that's because when I was little I thought people layed eggs, and I was going to have a baby giraffe.

The Elephants

All day Taelyn kept asking for the elephants. Well, sadly the Boise Zoo doesn't have elephants. This was the only elephant we got to see that day.
But it turned out great. The elephant sprayed water from it's trunk. The kids loved playing in the water and gettign wet.

The Lions
The Lions were asleep when we saw them, but Kameron still thought they were cool.

The Carousel
Our last stop at the zoo was the carousel. The kids were cranky and tired, but they loved riding on the carousel.

We had a great time at the Boise Zoo. Thanks Kristin for letting us tag along. We'll have to do this again next year.
