'Olive You!'

Taelyn is our little eater. This girl eats everything! One thing she absolutely loves (just like her Mom) is Olives!

We were telling her to smile. Have no idea what this face was supposed to be.

Then she got the 'smile' down.

Then we decided to tell her to pick her nose...haha.

And then they were 'all gone!'

Taelyn "Olive you!!"

Catching Up!

So I have not been doing a very good job with posting...so over the next few days I am going to be doing alot of catching up. Hope you don't mind. :)

Thanks!

Painting the Snow

I have been feeling a little 'Cabin Fever' going on this last week. So last night Josh and I were talking about things the kids and I could do to get out of the house. He suggested playing in the snow, hiking up the mountain....I didn't think that sounded like much fun, especially with my big belly and it's been FREEZING!! Since we live in a pretty small town there isn't a whole lot to do, so I knew I was going to have to get creative and I was just going to have to suck it up and face the cold weather. :)
But then an idea came to me, what if we painted the snow. Here's what we did.

We got empty water bottles and drilled a hole (or two) into each lid.
Thanks Daddy for making the holes!
Then we filled each bottle with water and added a few drops of food coloring in each bottle.

Next we went outside and painted the snow! Not only did Kameron and Taelyn love it, but our little cat, Tom, loved it too.

We put the bottles into a basket and put them in a sled, that way I could just pull the sled with the bottles. It made it easier for picture taking.
 Then we walked and painted.

Then we stopped to draw a smiley face for Daddy to see. And so I could take a picture.

But as you can see they weren't very interested in taking pictures.

We had to stop and re-fill our bottles and then it was back out to paint the snow.

We decided to leave Dad a little message.

I think the 'snow painting' was a Success! They didn't want to come inside, but our bottles were pretty much done after 3 rounds of painting.

Playin' in the Snow!

One morning Kameron and Taelyn wanted to go outside and sled. I knew Kameron wouldn't have a problem sledding and walking around in the snow, but I wasn't sure about Taelyn.
I decided to let them go, but I told Kameron to take care of Taelyn and to help her.
I was ready to go out into the snow to save Taelyn because I was sure she would be cold or crying in a matter of minutes, but when I came outside this is what I saw.

Kameron doing a very good job of helping Taelyn. :)

It was so cute. He really is such a good big brother. He held her hand and made sure she got out of the sled ok and helped her walk up the hill.

They had such a great time sledding. They would laugh and scream as they went down the hill.

And every time they got to the bottom of the hill, Kameron made sure to help Taelyn up.

Thank you Kameron for being such a great Big Brother!

We're Having A.....

Today was my 20 week ultrasound and here is what we're having....

 A Girl!!
(yah, I don't know if you can really see anything on the pic, but I had to add it)
I was pretty surprised because I was sure this one was going to be a boy. But, as always, I was wrong. And of course Josh's parents are ecstatic. I'm not too sure about that Perron curse anymore because the last 2 grandchildren have been girls and the next 2 are going to be girls. :)
I love that the ultrasound tech wrote 'Girl Parts' hahaha.

Here is another picture of our tiny little baby girl. I'm sorry, but I can never tell what the heck I'm looking at. I thought I was looking at the face today and it wasn't...at all...it was the opposite end of the body. hahaha So glad there's someone there telling me what everything is or else I would think there was some kind of alien there.

So that's our new exciting news! What a great Christmas Present!

Viva Las Vegas!

Alright, I am way behind on my posts. The beginning of November we took our Annual trip to Las Vegas for the SEMA show (a man car show, not very interesting). But we always enjoy going to Las Vegas because for one it's a vacations and two we get to see our great friends the Zockoll's.

The past 3 years we've rented a home in Vegas (the first 2 not being so great), but I think we got it on our third try. We stayed in a beautiful home that was in a nice quiet neighborhood. And my Dad even met us there and stayed with us a few days, which was Awesome!!

There was even a really nice park just down the street from us. So the kids and I met my friend, Lindsay, and her two cute boys at the park and played for a little while.
I was loving the weather in Vegas this year. It was so nice and warm.

Kameron loved playing with his 'new' friend, Jack.
Thanks Lindsay for telling us about this great park and for letting us hang out for awhile. :)

The Bellagio
The last night that my Dad was their we decided to go out to eat and show them a little bit of the strip. The only thing they really wanted to see was the Bellagio. So after dinner we headed to the Bellagio to walk around and see the fountains.

 My Dad and Catherine.

And there I am with a black wig and in a sexy little black dress. Just kidding. I didn't even notice she was in the picture, hahaha. It kind of looks like that guy is trying to get a picture of her. Sorry that was really random.

Kameron had to take a few pictures of his own.

Then we went outside and waited for the fountains. I had to take a picture of the Eiffel Tower, isn't it pretty? And just some information....I have always wanted to go to Paris, ever since I was a little girl. I have no idea why, but that has been a dream of mine.

This picture was actually really hard to take because there were so many people that night. Luckily we got one, well kind of. Taelyn was calling the dolphins that were in the water (I have no idea why she thought there were dolphins in there). hehehe

And then the Fountain Show began.

 Kameron and Taelyn loved it!

I asked them if it was better than fireworks. Their answer 'YES!'

The Outlet Mall
Nothing too great about the outlet mall except for the rides. We had to ride every single little ride they had in that mall.

They rode a bus...

 A helicopter

 A 3-Wheeler....and

 And the Carousel!

They had to ride the carousel.

Hey, we're on vacation right, we can do what we want to.

Thank you Las Vegas Outlet Mall for the fun filled day of spending all my money on 1 minute kiddie rides. :)

All in all we had a great time in Vegas. Lots of relaxing and spending time with family and friends. I think the highlight of my trip was our Date Night with our friends Adam & Lindsay. We had alot of fun and it's always great to catch up with old friends.

Until next year....

Time with Dad

Josh had to work late tonight, so I was looking at some old pictures on our computer and came across some that I forgot to post on our blog.

Kameron and Taelyn love their Daddy! And they love when they get to spend time with him. This summer they especially loved when Daddy took them up into the mountains (I was usually at a church meeting or hanging out with the girls when they went on these adventures).
So here are some pictures from one of their 'Mountain Adventures'. :)

Such a boy! He carries these binoculars all over the place looking for deer and bears and any other wild animal.

 Love that face.

Oh Miss Taelyn! She really got into hats this summer and had to wear one everywhere.
I love this little girl!

I have no idea what she was doing here, but I had to put it on here. :) She is such a funny little girl, always making us laugh.

Sippy cup (check), Goldfish (check), we're ready for a hike. And there's Kam in the background with his Binoculars.

I love our little family!
I am so greatful to be a Mother, for having a wonderful Husband, and for our beautiful children.
