Quote of the Day!

Kameron and Taelyn always enjoy the Sacrament at church. I don't know what it is...maybe it's because it's food or maybe it's the little tiny cups of water. Whatever it is, they like it.
So yesterday, during the Sacrament, I give Kameron his piece of bread and Taelyn her piece of bread and then pass it to Josh. I guess Taelyn wanted more, but Josh told her no and then passed it to one of the men that was passing the Sacrament. That did not make Taelyn very happy. Then I hear:

"That guy's not sharing! Daddy, that guy's not sharing!"

I guess she wanted the man to come back and share all the bread with her.
We had a good laugh. Taelyn we love you! You are such a silly little girl.

Look at me Mom!!

Last year Kameron got a bike for his birthday. Grandma and Grandpa let him choose what bike he wanted and then they surprised him with it on his birthday. He has loved riding his bike. A few weeks ago we decided it was time to take off the training wheels.

So Daddy took them off, and then helped Kameron ride his bike. Josh would give him a little push and  off he went.

As you can tell by his face he loved riding without training wheels.

He had to make sure everyone was watching. :)
It didn't take long for him to figure it out.

Daddy decided it was time for a helmet. He was so excited that he had a helmet and even happier when he saw that we got him a Spiderman helmet. He loves Super Heroes.

This boy is fearless.
He rides his bike everywhere now. He loves riding down hills....he goes really really fast, it kind of scares me. :) But luckily we haven't had any crashes yet.

What a happy little boy! We love you Kam!

Jaialdi 2010: Basque Festival

A few weeks ago we went to Boise for the weekend. Every 5 years is my Mother-in-law's family reunion & Basque Festival. We were all excited and ready for a mini vacation. Josh's entire family got to come this year, so it was alot of fun to spend time with everyone.  Here is what we did for Jaialdi this year...

While in Boise we stayed in a Hotel. And of course all the kids were so excited because it had a pool. The kids could have cared less about the Basque Festival, they wanted to stay in the pool.
Kameron and Taelyn had so much fun swimming. Daddy was helping Kameron learn how to swim, and he actually did really well.

Kameron & Taelyn love the water. They were both a little unsure at first, but as you can see in the pictures, they ended up having alot of fun. They loved jumping to Daddy.
It was so hot in Boise....so it was nice to come back at the end of the day and cool off in the pool.

Another trip to Chuck E. Cheese

Anytime all the cousins are together we try to make a trip to Chuck E. Cheese. Going to Chuck E. Cheese isn't just a spur of the moment thing. It is a well planned out trip. A few days before we went to Boise Kathy asked if I could search for coupons. Kathy gets an envelope and writes our names on it. She then includes coupons and cash for each family. What a nice Grandma!
We had alot of fun. We spent 2 1/2 hours at Chuck E. Cheese, but it actually didn't seem that long. And i hit the jackpot on one of the games and won 250 tickets. I was pretty excited, hehe.
And what did we get with our 745 tickets???
A Superhero Puzzle (500 tickets), Airheads (40 tickets each), a Chuck E. Cheese Spoon, a ring, and other little toys. Shouldn't I be getting like a huge amazing toy for that much??? :)

The kids loved riding the rids, playing the games, and getting tickets. They had been talking about Chuck E. Cheese before we even got to Boise, so they were very happy when we finally went.

Taelyn loves all the rides at Chuck E. Cheese.

As we were leaving we got to meet .....
Chuck E. Cheese!!

 Taelyn loved him...at a distance.
The kids wouldn't leave him alone...haha.

Taelyn decided she wanted to show him her drink.
Chuck E. finally went to see some other kids....but he had some little followers. Taelyn and Sahilita were following him everywhere. Now Kameron on the other hand didn't want that mouse near him. As soon as he saw him he ran off in the other direction. But I don't blame him....that mouse is kind of scary!

When we finally left Chuck E. Cheese we hadn't even left the parking lot and Taelyn was asleep.
We had a great time at Chuck E. Cheese, and to tell you the truth...the adults like going just as much as the kids.

Our Late Night Dinner
Friday night we went out to eat at Chili's. We ended up going to eat at 9PM. We couldn't believe how late we were eating. Everyone was exhausted, but we survived.

Here's a picture of everyone. Don't they all look so happy? hehe

At least Kameron had a smile for me.

 And Taelyn too.

They gave all the kids crayons to color with...but this is what my son decided to do with his crayons.
We finally left Chili's and the kids went right to sleep.

The Basque Festival
On Saturday we finally did some 'Basque' stuff. We went to the fairgrounds and walked around. They have lots of food, Basque dancing, and little booths where you can buy different things.

Here are some pictures of the Basque Dancers.

Well, we all had a great weekend in Boise and are looking forward to the next Basque Festival in 2015. But I think we all needed a vacation from our vacation.
